Congratulations to Brother Ed Oliver ('74) who last week was elected to serve in the Alabama House of Representatives from District 81. On this Veterans Day, we also commend Brother Oliver for his service in the United States Army, and issue thanks to all of the many other Beta Chapter alumni who have also served our country.

Congratulations to two of our recent alumni, Brother Zach King (left, first picture), who just recently completed his basic training for the United States Army, and Brother William Keplinger(far right, second picture), for graduating from the US Army Reserves basic training. One of the four pillars of Kappa Sigma is service, and these two are the ultimate embodiment of this pillar by beginning their service to our great country. We are thankful for their willingness to serve, and for their superb representation of the Beta Chapter. AEKDB Brothers!

Cold yet insightful day at Kappa Sigma International Headquarters as two brothers from the Beta Chapter visited Charlottesville, VA including 46 East Lawn on UVA's campus acknowledging the "original" birthplace of Kappa Sigma.
