This American Sign Language (ASL) 8-week course introduces students to the fundamentals of ASL, including about 100 vocabulary terms as well as phrases related to customer service, and emergencies. Students will learn to communicate through expressive and receptive signing in everyday situations. The course also explores Deaf culture, history, and community values to promote cultural awareness and respect. No prior ASL experience is required—just a willingness to engage and have fun!

Have you ever admired the beauty of stained glass and wondered how it’s made? Now is your chance to learn!
In this hands-on beginner class, students will be introduced to the timeless art of stained glass using the copper foil (Tiffany-style) method. You will learn how to safely cut glass, grind and shape pieces, apply copper foil, and solder your design together.

No experience is necessary—this class is designed for beginners and those wanting to refresh their skills. Each student will complete a small stained-glass panel or sun catcher by the end of the course.

Grab your boots and jump in line! This fun course offers an exciting opportunity for students of all levels to learn and enjoy the energetic world of line dancing. Participants will benefit from improved fitness, coordination, and rhythm while having fun and socializing with others.

The Line Dancing course is taught by Erin Wilbourn, a talented dance instructor with extensive experience in various dance styles and a passion for teaching others the art of dance. With a variety of routines and music genres covered, students will gain confidence and enjoy the social aspects of dancing. Join us to dance, laugh, and stay active in a welcoming and lively setting!

We will be working with copper and or brass to create pendants that have” to hold a stone. Students will work with tools such as saw, shear, files, stamps, and mallet. The torch will be used to anneal the metal, making it easier to form. You will acquire the skills to continue to make your own jewelry with the knowledge on how to use the tools. Safety will be the biggest concern, and all skills will be taught. A beautiful and creative way to set off a stone. Sometimes even turning it into a creature!

(Students may bring their own stone. However, it shouldn’t be larger than 1” x 2”, and must have a flat backside, to be most successful) Wear closed toe shoes, comfortable clothing without anything being loose or flowing, like wide.
