We hosted our eighth pARTnership exhibit earlier this week! This exhibit promotes health, wellness and creativity in our students, campus and community. A big thank you to our event partners, Caleb Bell at Tyler Museum of Art and Neita Ward with Art Connection via Valerosa, for bringing color and vitality into our hallways. 🎨🖌️

The Fisch College of Pharmacy just ranked 2nd in Texas for first-time NAPLEX pass rates (95.5%), and our alumni know exactly why:

The University of Texas at Tyler Fisch College of Pharmacy 2025 graduates achieved a first-time pass rate of 95.5% on the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination, above the national average of 85.7% and the state average of 85.8%, placing the college second in Texas.

Student Spotlight: Leah Lawrence, P3 ✨

Why pharmacy at UT Tyler? 💊
I chose pharmacy because I value the balance between science and patient care. UT Tyler stood out to me because of its supportive faculty, smaller class sizes and strong sense of community, which I knew would help me grow both academically and professionally.

What career would you like to pursue with a PharmD? 🏢
I’m still exploring, but I’m especially interested in emergency medicine and psychiatry. Both fields are fast paced, challenging and allow pharmacists to make a real impact in acute and vulnerable patient populations.

Favorite experience (so far)? ❤️
My favorite experience isn’t tied to one particular event but rather to the people I’ve met. The friendships, mentorship and professional connections I’ve formed at UT Tyler have been the most rewarding part of this journey, and I know they’ll stay with me well beyond pharmacy school.

Hobbies? 📚
I enjoy playing sports and running. Staying active helps me manage stress and keeps me focused, both inside and outside of school.

Student Spotlight: Madilyn Chase, P2 ✨

Why pharmacy at UT Tyler? 💊
I chose to pursue pharmacy at UT Tyler because the smaller class size fosters a more personalized learning environment and stronger connections with professors and classmates. I was also drawn to the program’s emphasis on interprofessional education, innovative curriculum and opportunities for community engagement.

What career would you like to pursue with a PharmD? 🏢
I aspire to pursue a career in veterinary pharmacy, where I can apply my knowledge and skills to improve the health of animals through safe and effective medication use.

Favorite experience (so far)? ❤️
My favorite experience in pharmacy so far has been participating in rotations, where I’ve had the opportunity to apply the knowledge I gained in the classroom to real patients. Being able to see how what I’ve learned directly impacts patient care has been both rewarding and motivating.

Hobbies? 📚
My hobbies include reading, visiting and caring for horses on my uncle’s farm, spending quality time with my niece and nephews, and staying active through regular exercise.
