Janet Scordinsky ’94 M.A. understands the lasting impact a dedicated teacher can have. She and her husband have pledged $50,000 to help shape the next generation of educators by establishing the Janet and John Scordinsky Endowed Scholarship in Secondary Education.

Kean alumnus Sebastian Salazar '24 recently celebrated a major career milestone during his time at NBCUniversal, where he worked in partnership marketing supporting some of the world’s biggest sporting events, including NBCUniversal’s 2026 FIFA World Cup and the Milan Cortina Olympic Games.

One of the most memorable moments of his time with NBCUniversal was seeing his name appear in the 2026 FIFA World Cup broadcast credits, an accomplishment he said he'll always cherish. He also reflected on the mentors, colleagues, and partners who challenged him, invested in his growth, and helped shape his career.

Sebastian has recently accepted a new role as Partnership Management and Activation Coordinator with Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. Congratulations, Sebastian! We're excited to see where your journey takes you next.
