Great Lakes Bay Regional Youth Leadership Institute SVSU

10/06/2026

On October 2nd, the Great Lakes Bay Regional Youth Leadership Institute (GLBRYLI) kicked off the 2026–2027 program year by bringing together student leaders from across the Great Lakes Bay Region for an exciting day at the SVSU campus!
Students connected with their peers, engaged in meaningful leadership activities, explored their unique strengths, and began building the skills they need to become confident leaders and changemakers. With the support of dedicated mentors and inspiring speakers, students were encouraged to recognize their potential, embrace their individuality, and lead with purpose.
The kickoff was filled with connection, growth, leadership, and inspiration as we welcomed the next generation of leaders!
Leadership is more than having a title, it’s about making an impact, serving others, and using your voice to create positive change.
This is just the beginning! We are excited to see what this incredible group of student leaders accomplishes throughout the 2026–2027 GLBRYLI program year!
