Bringing public health to campus, (again)!

Today, the second group of N3 nursing students had the opportunity to learn alongside the MyMichigan Mobile Mammography team as part of their public health clinical rotation.

Students explored the importance of early detection, the impact of social determinants of health, and how access to healthcare plays a critical role in prevention. Experiences like this help our future nurses see firsthand how healthcare extends beyond the hospital and into the communities they serve.

A special thank you to the MyMichigan Mobile Mammography team for sharing their expertise and helping our students connect classroom learning to real-world public health!
