Meet one-on-one with their Recruitment Marketing Specialist at HealthSource Saginaw, to discuss career opportunities, gain professional guidance, and explore your future in healthcare.

Whether you're actively looking for a job, seeking internship opportunities, or simply preparing for your career after graduation, this event offers a valuable opportunity to connect directly with a healthcare recruiter.

During your session, you can:
- Interview for current nursing and healthcare-related openings
- Receive personalized resume feedback
- Participate in a mock interview
- Learn tips for standing out in healthcare hiring processes
- Ask questions about career paths, hiring expectations, and life after graduation
- All nursing students and healthcare-related majors are encouraged to attend.

Details:
Available Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Location: Saginaw Valley State University, Career Services Conference Room (Second Floor of Wickes Hall - Room 209)

Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis and typically last 15-30 minutes.

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Back by Popular Demand! The SVSU Walking Program Returns for Year 3!
Calling all walkers—both returning participants and those joining us for the first time!

The SVSU Walking Program is back, and we’re ready to make this year bigger and better than ever! Our goal this year is to increase participation and beat last year’s numbers, so we need YOU to join us!

Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to:

👟 Get more steps in and stay active
🏆 Participate in some friendly competition
🤝 Meet new people and connect with coworkers
🎉 Have fun while working toward your personal goals
And to wrap things up, the walking program will conclude with a Halloween-themed 5K event! 🎃👻

🍧 A HUGE thank you to our nursing faculty and staff! 🍧

Today’s Cool Down Before Clinical was a huge success! We purchased nearly 400 popsicles, and every single one was gone by the end of the three-hour event!

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make today possible.

Thank you for making time for moments like these, and helping us kick off the semester with a little fun! 🧊🍧

✨ A New Chapter in Advanced Practice Nursing ✨

Monday, we celebrated our Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) students as they take an important step forward in their journey toward becoming advanced practice nurses.

The White Coat Ceremony represents the dedication, compassion, knowledge, and responsibility that come with caring for patients and serving our communities. As these students receive their white coats, we are proud to recognize all of the hard work that brought them to this moment and excited for the impact they will make in the future.

Congratulations to our FNP students! Your journey is just beginning, and we cannot wait to see where it takes you.

✨ SNA Introductions and Camp Nightingale Highlights ✨

A huge thank you to our student tutors, mentors, volunteers, & faculty that helped make Camp Nightingale possible! We truly would not be able to host this event without your time & willingness to support and welcome our newest nursing students!

We also want to thank for their thoughtful presentation on stem cell and bone marrow transplants and for educating us on the importance of being a registered donor.

And, of course, thank you to & .tregembo for the generous donation of Red Bulls to help keep us energized throughout the day today!

To our newest N1s, we hope Camp Nightingale was informative, fun, and helped ease some nerves as you begin your nursing school journey. There's so much to look forward to!
