Great time on Thursday as CCB faculty and staff continued our new international potluck tradition to wrap up the Winter semester and gear up for Spring and Summer! 🌍🍽️

We had an amazing spread of food from all over the world—American, Thai, Korean, Indian, Lebanese, Italian, Mexican, and more!

Over spring break, a group of Saginaw Valley State University students from the Vitito Global Leadership Institute traveled to Amsterdam for an immersive experiential learning course focused on global leadership. The goal was simple but powerful: learn leadership by engaging directly with leaders.

Throughout the week, students met with professionals across industries—from global brands to international institutions—gaining firsthand insight into leadership, innovation, strategy, and collaboration in a global context. We’re grateful to the organizations and leaders who welcomed our students, including:

• Stay Future Proof
• ECCO, where Haleik Coleman led an outstanding workshop on product leadership and strategy

The Carmona College of Business project this year for Oppor2nity Days is the CliftonStrengths Leadership Initiative. All SVSU business students complete the CliftonStrengths Talent Assessment to identify their top five strengths and learn how to apply them in academics, organizations, and relationships. Gifts during Oppor2nity Days will make possible advanced CliftonStrengths training with student leaders, giving them additional tools in collaboration, conflict resolution, resiliency and student leadership.
