Upcoming Alumni & Friends Event @ SoVA

Join us for a conversation about some how things are going at the School of Visual Arts. A reception for alumni and friends will be held on September 30, 2011, co-hosted by the Palmer Museum and the Zoller Gallery, to view the faculty exhibition at the Palmer and the 2nd Year MFA show at the Zoller.

We will kick off at 5.00pm at the Palmer Museum with a visit to the faculty show: Studio Practice: Recent Work by SoVA Faculty. This show features work by 33 faculty artists.

At 6.00pm we’ll wander over to the Zoller Gallery for a light reception and a viewing of the exhibition by 2nd Year MFA students.

It was a great place to listen in on the conversations to be had in and around the array of works that seemed to be as varied as those in attendance. The wonderful reception hosted by the Palmer Museum was appreciated by all and seemed to set the scene for the right kind of food for thought.
