Making Her Mark in Fashion PR! 👠

Meet CCPA alum Avery Hinson (B.A. ’20), whose career in public relations has taken her from SMU into the world of fashion and brand communications.

Written by Lucie Gray Miller for Vol. 3 of the PRUNA magazine. Hinson works in communications at Victoria’s Secret, she helps lead influencer partnerships, events and VIP relationships for one of the world’s most globally recognized fashion brands. But her path to the industry wasn’t always so straightforward. From internships and trying out different PR roles to eventually finding her place at Victoria’s Secret, crediting her curiosity and willingness to say “yes!” with helping shape her career.
