Hey Everyone!
It's LGBTQ History Month! So there will be a ton of events you can attend!
Tonight we will be having our weekly trivia game at Chumley's starting at 7:30. It costs $2 to play and goes until roughly 9:00. If it's your first time and are having trouble finding us you can ask Brian at the trivia table to point us out to you.
Tomorrow the library will be hosting a special collections pop-up exhibit on LGBTQ History from 6-8 in the Mann Assembly room of the Paterno library.
The library will also be hosting an LGBTQ History Wikipedia Edit-a-thon on Tuesday October 8, 9 AM-5 PM, Mann Assembly Room, Paterno Library. The goal is to edit and create Wikipedia pages for LGBTQ people, organizations, and events. We will be utilizing Special Collections materials from 10-12 to add Penn State q***r history to Wikipedia. Participants can drop in any time during the day.
Next Wednesday, the 9th, is the LGBTQ History Month Rally at noon on the Monumental Staircase, there will also be a keynote speaker, Zach Barack, that day at 6 pm in the Freeman Auditorium in the HUB.
And finally, on Thursday October 10th, the Center for Gender and Sexual Diversity will be hosting an LGBTQ Coffee Chat with Dr. Jane Cook, from 2:30 to 3:30 at Webster's bookstore.
Hope you all are having a great week and we look forward to seeing you at some or all these events!
