I’ve made 250 meetings this year (excluding quick internal update meetings) along with 39 local and 5 international representations (as of october). If you ask me if those awards and recognition MCC is reaping come easy, the numbers would tell you a very different story. Para sa Pilipinas! Thank you MCC Office of the President staff for putting up with me. ❤️

Thank you Councilor Edward Pollard from Houston, Texas, and the amazing folks at the Greater Houston Filipino Chamber of Commerce, President Noemi Frias and National President Loloy Reyes, for visiting us recently. The visit was lively and filled with hopes for improving Filipino communities here and abroad. 🙂

While he was touring our corporate boutique, Councilor Pollard recalled a similar project he started in Texas, where they provided students with a suit to prep them for jobs after they gained important skills. His genuine interest in personal stories was clear when he approached and kindly asked Eman, one of our community members with disabilities, about his day.

Councilor Pollard's belief in the power of community colleges to change lives really aligns with ours, and we hope he will step into bigger leadership roles in Houston or maybe even across the US. It was a real privilege to host all of you!

Tita Noemi, thank you so much. Let’s keep dreaming and see you in the US.
