We are proud to announce our June Man of the Month as Hunt Stevens, a rising senior Finance and Real Estate Major, and Military Science and Leadership Minor from Sandy Springs, Georgia, and a member of the Mississippi Gamma Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

Hunt currently serves as a cadet in the Ole Miss Army ROTC Program and will be departing for Fort Knox this week for his final round of training to become a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army. Additionally, within his chapter, Hunt will serve as the Fall 2026 New Member Educator for SAE, collaborating with the SAE National Headquarters and his New Member Education Committee to create relevant, engaging, and informative programming for the next generation of fraternity men to walk through SAE's doors.

"Hunt Stevens exemplifies what it means to be a true gentleman and a dedicated brother of SAE. While balancing the demands of ROTC and his commitment to serving in the U.S. Army, Hunt consistently makes time to stay active and involved in our chapter. His character, leadership, and work ethic set a standard that others strive to follow. This fall, Hunt will take on an important role within our executive council, where he will have a major impact on chapter leadership and member education. Personally, I can’t think of a member more prepared for this responsibility. Hunt represents the very best of our brotherhood, and we’re excited to see the positive influence he will continue to have on SAE." - Patty Murphy, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Chapter President

Thank you, Hunt, for your commitment to both our local campus community and to our country! We wish you the absolute best in your training.

The University of Mississippi Interfraternity Council is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Walker Fendley, a member of the Pi Chapter of Delta Tau Delta. Our thoughts are with Delta Tau Delta's chapter members and Walker's family as they navigate this traumatic time.

We encourage any affected members of our community to make use of on-campus resources such as the University Counseling Center as we navigate this difficult time.

"He will be remembered for his passion for music, his never-ending desire to dance to his own groove, and an ability to make anyone feel special and loved - a true brother for all." - Luke Cheng, Delta Tau Delta Social Media Chair

We are proud to announce our May Man of the Month as Trey McKean, a junior Public Policy and Leadership Major from Fairhope, Alabama, and a member of the Pi Chapter of Delta Tau Delta.

This past month, Trey was elected Student Body Vice President of the Associated Student Body, marking the third consecutive term in which a Delt has been represented in either the President or Vice President role in ASB. This impressive accomplishment is underscored by Trey's extensive involvement on campus, as a member of the Columns Society, Phi Beta Kappa, the Delta Tau Delta Wellness Board, and the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College.

"Trey McKean has devoted his time to not only helping our chapter grow but campus as well. He is a leader that many people look to in a time of need. His involvement as wellness chair has helped many through hardships. He cares about every brother in the chapter and every student on this campus. I’m very grateful to be able to call him a friend and brother." - Tommy Nelson, Delta Tau Delta Chapter President
