San Diego BeachCats Holiday Bowl Hotel and Transportation Information (Update)
Hello San Diego BeachCats and all other Alumni!
Reminder that the BeachCats have some exciting news for those of you who are local or know someone that is coming in from out of town to see our Cats play in the Holiday Bowl on Friday, January 2.
LODGING: The Handlery Hotel (950 Hotel Circle North San Diego, CA 92108) is continuing to offer a nightly rate of $139 and overnight parking for $24 for local and out of town alumni. Take advantage of this offer as rooms are filling up. If you or anyone you know is interested in getting a room, give them a call at (619) 298-0511 and ask for the Holiday Bowl rate.
TRANSPORTATION: The San Diego BeachCats have chartered a 49-passenger bus to transport people from the hotel to SnapDragon stadium and back. The bus will depart the hotel at 4 pm and leave the stadium at 9 pm. The cost is $20/person & priority goes to anyone staying at the hotel until noon on Tuesday, December 30. After that, any remaining spots will be made available to any local or out of town alumni that would like to pay for the ride. For non-guests, hourly parking is $2/hour. There are currently 37 spots available as of the morning of December 27. PRE-GAME: The BeachCats will not be holding a formal pre-game event but encourage any alumni to come to the hotel restaurant for an informal gathering starting at 2:00 pm. Buy and enjoy some food and drink with several board members until 3:45 pm when we start loading the bus.
