Taylor University School of Business and Leadership Welcome to Taylor University's Cornwall School of Business and Leadership page!

All School of Business curriculum courses combine theory, principles, techniques, and practical applications to enhance graduates' employment opportunities and serve as a solid groundwork for graduate studies. The relevance of Christian faith through current, real-world situations is emphasized in classes, field trips, and expert Christian guest lecturers. Team development and business projects are available in selected business courses; a practicum experience is required of all students. Development of communication skills, both written and oral, is emphasized and many courses give attention to problem solving and quantitative analysis.

Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, and Cleveland.

InnoTreks take our students around the country, allowing them to gain first-person experience of the professional world. On these trips, students interact with business leaders in different industries and in different markets, giving them the opportunity to learn outside the classroom.

Let's take a look back at Trojan Arena 2025!

David Celesti took home the Trojan Arena grand prize this year for Service Wizard, an app that streamlines how service providers find jobs.

Phoebe Grier took second place with "For the Love", and Andrew Beaverson rounded out the podium with "Brickademia".

We look forward to Trojan Arena 2026 in the fall, so be thinking about how you can bring home the victory!

The Cornwall School of Business and Leadership takes pride in our 517 students. With $200K in scholarships and 90% of our students employed or in graduate school within 10 months of graduating, we know we are preparing tomorrow's leaders well.

As Taylor University's largest department, we surround our students with a community unlike any other, enabling them to grow and develop with like-minded peers. This community often leads to lifelong relationships, allowing for more impact after our students leave campus.

This Spring we had the opportunity to hear David Bahnsen speak at the Forman Symposium. David, Chief Investment Officer of the Bahnsen Group, spoke on topics within his book “Full-Time: Work and the Meaning of Life”.

“I enjoyed hearing about his theology of work. It was eye opening to see how David is a field and industry leader in wealth management, but also has a profound calling to minister through economics. I think from his talk I learned and reinforced my beliefs that work is a vocation. Work is the calling of a christian as well as the secular man, but the Christian ultimately works for God. Lastly, I thought it was insightful that David did not hesitate to call out our generation as being susceptible to laziness and distractions— at the expense of us not glorifying God to the fullest through work.” - Caleb Hodel, Finance and Computer Science ’26

Thank you David Bahnsen!
