A special Do Good Week 🌟

"This week I’m especially grateful to be a DG and to have the opportunity to serve as director of Do Good Week! Planning this week has made me realize how much of an impact even the smallest acts of kindness can have. I’m so thankful for a chapter that shows me every day what it really means to do good. Whether it’s giving someone a compliment, lending a helping hand or simply making someone feel loved, the little things really do matter. Delta Gamma has shown me how to be a light in the darkness because you truly never know what someone is going through. I am so incredibly grateful for this sisterhood and for the trust they have given me by allowing me to organize Do Good Week!"

🌟DO GOOD WEEK🌟

Miranda McKeon, Alpha Nu-USC, is doing good and raising awareness for breast cancer and women's health & wellbeing. This month, she is working with PARKE as a philanthropic marketing advisor to launch a new campaign where part of the proceeds will support a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance and support to breast cancer patients through every stage of their diagnosis. At 19, Miranda was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now cancer-free, she is sharing her story and using her voice to advocate for proactive scans and early detection.

The Individual Alumnae Awards give us an opportunity to recognize outstanding Delta Gammas for extraordinary service to our sisterhood as well as professional, volunteer and philanthropic accomplishments. Kimberly Michaels Keenan, Gamma Theta-Florida, was honored with the Hope Award exemplifying what it means to give back by helping to strengthen the entire Panhellenic community through collaboration and advocacy. We wanted to highlight a few special words to celebrate her accomplishments.

⚓️ “She accepted the role while the chapter was at risk. Through her efforts, guidance and mentoring, she led them from potentially folding to fantastic.”
🩵 “The women who served in leadership roles and those who were members in need of support and guidance all received the best of Kimberly. She helped members through mental health crises, provided financial guidance to the chapter, supported programmatic and USF processes, and always had a smile on her face.”
