You empower children and teens navigating vision loss to build the independence and confidence they need to thrive when you support the Delta Gamma Foundation.

In 2025, the Foundation was proud to award a Service for Sight grant to Braille Institute of America to help support Braille Challenge. This annual national braille literacy competition motivates students to practice and hone their braille skills while promoting braille literacy on an international scale. Programs like this expand what's possible for children and teens living with blindness or low vision.

It's National Hazing Prevention Week, and the Delta Gamma Foundation stands firm with the Delta Gamma Fraternity that hazing has no place in Delta Gamma. The Foundation is proud to support Training and Programming initiatives like Creating a Culture of Care that help members foster an environment that promotes human dignity and belonging, free from hazing. Members of Delta Gamma should participate in all aspects of the member experience without compromising their personal health and wellness, academic performance and human rights. Hazing corrupts the true meaning of Fraternity life and negates what Delta Gamma affirms.

The Fraternity has a curated list of resources to help members, advisors, and other leaders support prevention education and celebrate building a values-based member experience. Take a look at the Hazing Prevention and Upstander Engagement: Member Resource Guide in the Delta Gamma library and be an example of These Hands Don't Haze.

We're celebrating the Foundation's 75th anniversary in 2026 and highlighting the many ways our sisterhood does good is all part of the birthday fun!

Since 1992, Delta Gamma Foundation Lectureships in Values and Ethics have hosted inspirational speakers across North America, spreading messages of strength, leadership and hope to our chapters and their campuses. From speakers such as renowned author Maya Angelou and former first lady Barbara Bush to TV host Jeff Probst and Olympian Sarah Wells, these lectures have embodied the spirit of what it means to do good.

Watch our new Lectureships video for more history and inspiration about this Foundation initiative.

Guide dogs do more than help people get from place to place — they help open up possibilities! 🦮 Through our Service for Sight grants, the Delta Gamma Foundation is proud to support organizations helping people with vision loss gain greater confidence and independence.

Freedom Guide Dogs received a 2025 Service for Sight grant to support the training and placement of a guide dog with an applicant through its Hometown Training program. This program allows individuals to receive guide dog training in their own communities rather than traveling for services.

The Delta Gamma Foundation’s mission is at the heart of all we do, and “Mission Moments” help keep that mission front and center. 💗

As we celebrate our 75th anniversary, we're continuing to share stories, quotes, videos and photos from sisters or Service for Sight grant organizations on the Delta Gamma website each month. These stories highlight the impact of the Foundation and our generous donors.

Service for Sight is helping redefine what's possible! 🦯

The Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) received a 2025 Service for Sight grant to continue providing leadership development, peer networking and self-advocacy skills for Canadian students in grades 11 to the first year of post-secondary education through the SCORE Scholars program. This grant helped ensure that participants experienced a well-rounded mix of academic, career and recreational activities through hands-on opportunities.

Our hearts go out to our members experiencing displacement or damage due to last week's storms in the Midwest, particularly the intense and deadly flooding in Indiana and Ohio. Delta Gamma is here for those affected, and we want to remind our members that the Delta Gamma Foundation offers Crisis Grants to support sisters during this challenging time.

If you or another member needs financial assistance, you may be eligible for a Crisis Grant. The link to the application can be found here https://www.deltagamma.org/foundation/individual-member-support/ or call 614-481-8169 to speak with a Foundation staff member.

If you are able to help your sisters facing a crisis from a natural disaster or other financial hardship, please consider making a gift to the Foundation’s Crisis Grant fund at donate.deltagamma.org/CrisisGrants.
