South Slavic Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign The Slavic Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign offers language training
in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian.

The Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign offers students of South Slavic ancestry, as well as those with an interest in Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia, the opportunity to study the languages and cultures of Southeastern Europe. Students may take individual courses (which fulfill general education requirements),

or complete a Slavic Major with a concentration in South Slavic Studies. A Slavic Minor can also be added to any degree program on campus, from Engineering to Pyschology to Accounting!
