Beta Sigma Psi at the University of Illinois Alpha Chapter

Founded 90 years ago at the University of Illinois, Beta Sigma Psi is committed to helping its members transform from High School seniors into well-rounded Christian gentlemen. To achieve this goal, we strive to live our lives by our three pillars, also known as our three S’s: Spiritual, Scholastic, and Social. It is our belief that only a balance of these three principles will create the foundation necessary for an ideal Lutheran member of society.

Beta Sigs were honored to be a part of this year’s 9/11 Memorial at Gies Memorial Stadium. The University of Illinois community showed up in force in remembrance of the 25th anniversary of the attacks that changed America. In homage to the brave NYPD and NYFD officers who gave their life on that day, our brothers climbed 2,200+ steps - simulating the 110 flights of stairs they too climbed. United we Stand.
