Here’s a few words from our VP of Philanthropy Molly Bishop: “Service for Sight is so important to us at Delta Gamma. I’m so grateful for the meaningful experiences that we are able to give back to the visually impaired community, and to find a deeper purpose in our chapter to Do Good. Three of our members of MC ‘28 had an amazing opportunity to travel to Guatemala for a medical brigade for pre-health students. Here are a few words from them:

“Our Guatemala brigade was such an eye-opening experience. We had the opportunity to work with some of the sweetest kids and families who don’t have consistent access to healthcare, which really put into perspective how much we can take for granted. One of our favorite parts was the bonds we were able to form with the kids even in such a short amount of time. It was also really interesting getting to work with patients and learning how to communicate and connect despite language barriers. We learned so much from the doctors in Guatemala as well, who were incredibly kind and willing to teach us. Being able to observe them, ask questions, and learn alongside them made the experience even more meaningful.”
