SECON students celebrated a special milestone in their nursing school journey! Last night, surrounded by family, friends, and supporters, our students officially transitioned from Freshmen to Seniors at the Moving Up Ceremony.

Congratulations to the Class of 2027! Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have brought you one step closer to becoming nurses. We can’t wait to see where this journey takes you! 💙

🌼Congratulations to Nursing Instructor Marlene Jones, DNP, RN, recipient of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurse Educators (Academic)🌼

Dr. Jones was recognized as an exemplary educator dedicated to helping students succeed at SECON through her caring, compassionate, and supportive approach. She is a tremendous asset to our organization and serves as both a mentor and role model to students and new faculty alike.

Some traditions grow more meaningful with time.

Class of 2026 graduate Jillian Enk recreated photos with her mother, Theresa Amarosa Enk (Class of 1991), who originally took these same photos with her mother, Jacqueline Joswick Amarosa from the Class of 1960 — honoring three generations of nurses connected by family, compassion, and the same nursing legacy.
