Children and adolescents can be deeply impacted by disasters, loss, violence, and other traumatic events.
When young people experience trauma, caring adults can make a meaningful difference by recognizing signs of stress, offering support, and connecting families with helpful resources.
We encourage parents, caregivers, educators, and community members to learn more about how to help children cope and heal. Please see the flyer for additional information from the National Institute of Mental Health.
Together, we can create a more compassionate and supportive community for our youth.
