The Small Acreage Program is a partnership between WSU Clark County Extension and Clark County Envir

The Small Acreage Program provides educational workshops, tours and other outreach to residents on how to manage issues such as mud and manure management, fencing and pasture management, and other water quality topics unique to rural properties. WSU Extension programs and employment are available to all without discrimination. Evidence of noncompliance may be reported through your local WSU Extens

The 26th Annual Harvest Celebration - Tour of Clark County Farms will take place on Saturday, Sept. 19th. (contact [email protected] if your farm would like to participate in this year's celebration).

Living on the Land - 10 week class series will be on Tuesday evenings beginning on October 6th.

Get Septic Certified & Save Money! Attention Clark County rural residents. Did you know you are required to inspect your gravity-fed septic system every 3 years? Skip the $100+ professional fees and learn to do it yourself. Join WSU Clark County Extension and Clark County Public Health for an in-person workshop. You will learn how to maintain your well, protect your water, and spot costly problems early. Complete the class and a short exam to get certified to self-inspect your own septic system (for conventional gravity-fed systems only) every-other-time!

WSU Extension will be offering our Cultivating Success course this winter, and we’d like to share this opportunity offered statewide, online and with Spanish interpretation. (Español abajo)

Agriculture Entrepreneurship and Business Planning Course

This course will walk you through the steps to create a farm business plan through weekly online classes with guest speaker farmers and resource providers and connections in regional groups.

Tuesdays, January 20- March 1, 2026, 6-8pm with in-person intensives on Feb 28 and March 7

Location: Virtual, statewide with Spanish interpretation

Cost: $200 Scholarships available to anyone for whom the class fee is a barrier
