The Annual Summer Accounting Institute just wrapped in Vermillion, one of Beacom's longest-running traditions and a highlight of our summer camp series.

Under the leadership of Professor Erin Cornelsen, CPA, students dove deep into the accounting profession alongside other wonderful professors of practice.

That's a wrap on the 2026 Beacom Summer Camp series! A huge thank you to everyone who made this summer possible.

Camp 2 of 3 ✅

Our Business Academy in Vermillion wrapped up last week, and what an adventurous three days it was!

From June 14–16, students lived the full Coyote experience: staying on campus, eating in the MUC, and diving into sessions on Analytics, Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, Supply Chain Management, Leadership, Economics, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship, taught by our own Beacom faculty.

They also heard from guest speaker Sara Stenner (CTO and Principal Retired, Paulson Marketing), competed in the Beacom Olympics, hit the eSports Arena, and even squeezed in a movie night. 🍿

Three days. Endless takeaways. A whole lot of future business leaders leveling up.

The 2026 Beacom Summer Camp series is officially underway, and the energy at our Business Immersion Bootcamp in Sioux Falls set the tone perfectly.

In honor of our Accounting Institute's 20th anniversary, we expanded this year's series to USD-Sioux Falls, and the response has been incredible.
