USD Native American Alumni

Our thoughts are with the Felix thíwahe and extended community as Leškí/Lalá Butch begins his journey to the stars. For over 25 years, he served as the eyapaha for USD’s Wacipi. In 2023, Butch Felix was made an honorary alumnus by the University of South Dakota Foundation & Alumni Association and honored by Tiospaye Student Council for his dedication and service to Native students at USD. His voice and presence will be greatly missed.
