Villanova Summer Business Institute (SBI)

The Summer Business Institute (SBI) is a 10 week business minor program for undergraduate students.

SBI is unique in its integrative approach to teaching the fundamentals of business. Overarching module topics provide students with a framework within which to learn how the business world operates. The creative and demanding SBI curriculum enables students to gain an understanding of business fundamentals—including economic theory, accounting principles, financial analysis, consumer behavior, the

legal environment, and strategic management—while also developing cross-disciplinary skills—like verbal and written communication, decision making, ethical leadership, and innovative thinking—that will help individuals gain a solid understanding of the big picture of business. Professional development events and workshops complete SBI's curriculum.

Villanova Summer Business Programs is excited to introduce Summer Business Academy - a four-week, immersive business certificate program. Catered for non-business majors, students will be enrolled in a 6 credit on-campus experience to get an all-encompassing understanding of business. SBA provides students with a dynamic introduction to business to help them be more informed "consumers" - academically, personally, and professionally.
