Next week, as our country marks the 25th anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001, the Villanova community will remember our University alumni who were lost and honor the lives of all those who were taken too soon.

Twenty-five years later, their memories remain part of the Villanova community and continue to inspire reflection, compassion, and a commitment to remembering. We hold their families, friends, and loved ones in our thoughts as we pause to honor their lives and legacy.

The fall semester is officially underway at Villanova University, and with the new year comes a calendar of on-campus events for our students, as well as our neighbors.

Today, August 26, neighbors of our Cabrini Campus are advised that a student-centered event will take place on campus from 4-7PM.

Neighbors are advised that on Monday, August 24, and Tuesday, August 25, Villanova University will conduct photography and videography on the Cabrini Campus.

This production will include a drone to capture aerial images of campus for University communications initiatives. While the drone may be in use both days, it will not be visible or active the entire time.

As we begin the fall semester, Friends of Villanova Members should note the following:

📅 Fall Semester Hours at the Davis Center begin Monday, August 24th.

⏱️ Hours for Friends Members are:
Monday - Thursday: 7:00AM - 11:00AM & 8:00PM - 12:00AM
Friday: 7:00AM - 11:00AM
Saturday: 10:00AM - 6:00PM
Sunday: 10:00AM - 12:00AM

🏊‍♂️ The Pavilion Pool is currently undergoing repairs. Recreational Swim is anticipated to return on Monday, August 31.

💻 New and returning members must initiate all applications online at www.villanova.edu/fovmembership

📌 Please note that all Friends of Villanova applications are paused due to the start of the semester. All applications submitted during this time will be processed in the order in which they were received beginning Monday, August 31. Approved members may come into the Wildcard Office to pick up their Wildcard beginning August 31.

🚨 Cabrini Campus facilities are not open to Friends of Villanova members at this time. The Cabrini Campus will likely be included in the program in early 2027.

The Fall Semester at Villanova begins this month, and we are excited to welcome our newest Wildcats to campus starting with Move‑In Day on Wednesday, August 19th. New Student Orientation will take place from Thursday, August 20th, through Sunday, August 23rd.

Move-in for sophomores, juniors, and seniors will take place Friday, August 21st through Sunday, August 23rd. Move-in for Cabrini Campus residents will also take place Friday, August 21st through Sunday, August 23rd.

Move-In Day for incoming first-year residential students will take place on Wednesday, August 19th, and will necessitate parking lot and road closures around the Villanova Campus. Villanova University's Department of Public Safety will work with Radnor Township Police Department on traffic management throughout the day.

Most notably, Ithan Avenue will be closed from County Line Road (near the rear of the M-1 garage/Davis Center) to Aldwyn Lane (just past the entrance to South Campus residence halls).

Due to the road closure, parking in the I-1 garage will only be accessible through the Lancaster Avenue entrance. There will be no access to the I-1 garage from Ithan Avenue.

Please anticipate that Ithan Avenue will be closed from approximately 8:00AM until 5:00PM.
