Reserve a tent and put your Villanova pride on display for the annual Most Spirited Tailgate Tent Contest. Afterwards, cheer on Villanova as they take on Lehigh in a rematch of last year's FCS Playoffs. Mark your calendars, more details to come!

The gathering provided an opportunity to reflect on the island's significant Black history, connect with fellow alumni and celebrate the remarkable legacy of Dr. Teresa A. Nance, PhD, the former longtime professor of communication and vice president for UNITAS: Community Enrichment.

Today, we celebrate the Feast of Saint Augustine, whose teachings on truth (veritas), unity (unitas), and love (caritas) inspire and guide our Augustinian Catholic University. A Mass to honor the feast day will be held at 12:05 p.m. in St. Thomas of Villanova Church. University President the Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD, is presiding.

Following the liturgy, the Office for Mission and Ministry is debuting a new mural, “We Are One,” on the garden level of Saint Rita Hall. Created by Philadelphia artist Becky McIntyre, the mural emerged from synodal listening sessions and was painted by members of the Villanova University community.

Villanova University is proud to announce a $1 million gift from Stephen Curry ’99 VSB to endow the first-ever non-head coaching position in Villanova Athletics. This leadership gift will endow Villanova Football’s defensive coordinator position and provide funding to support the program. In honor of the gift and the support this fund will provide to the defensive coordinator, it will be named the Steve Curry ’99 Defensive Coordinator Endowed Fund. The gift will also provide flexible financial support for the Villanova Football program as the team sustains its incredible momentum—both on and off the field!
