Great seeing students explore future career pathways and hands on training opportunities

Things got a little smoky this week. 🚒🔥

Our CNA students had the chance to take part in hands-on fire training alongside the Vincennes Fire Department and the Vincennes University Fire Science Program.

From learning how to properly use a fire extinguisher to stepping up and putting out live training fires themselves, they experienced an exciting side of safety training outside the traditional classroom.

Thank you to the Vincennes Fire Department and VU Fire Science Program for helping create such a fun and interactive experience for our students. It was a great opportunity to build confidence while learning skills that can make a real difference in emergency situations.

Interest in our Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Training Program continues to grow. We already have 10 individuals signed up for the June cohort.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a career in healthcare, now is the time to take the next step before spots fill up.

This accelerated 30 day program begins June 1 and includes the national certification exam.
