Lighting the Flame

VU College of Technology Faculty and Staff have been helping students shine brightly for over sixty years!

This year, at our opening meeting, they were asked to write down something that a student has said to them that really has been burned into their memory and "Lights Their Flame" – motivating and inspiring them to keep doing what they do.

The responses were incredible.

“I would not have made it without you. I really mean that. I probably would not be alive. Thank you."
“Thank you for being so patient with me and giving me guidance during some very trying times.”
“Thank you for not giving up on me.”
“You renewed my faith in God.”
