Music Together of Hampton Roads

Music gives little ones a chance to imagine, pretend, and create. 🎶

A few resonator bells lined up on the floor can suddenly become a choo-choo train. 🚂 What starts as making music turns into a whole new world through their eyes.

That’s the magic of music with little ones—there’s room to explore, dream up ideas, and let their imaginations lead the way. ❤️

🎶 Calling all babies! 👶 You’re born musical!

A baby’s brain is developing rapidly from the very beginning, and making music with them engages many parts of the brain at once — as babies listen, coo, move, feel, and respond.

💛 In our Babies Only classes, you’ll discover simple, fun ways to use music every day — while bonding with your baby and supporting their natural development.

That’s why starting early matters. 🎵

🎶📖 You know that moment when your little one knows exactly what comes next in a song?

That little “I know this part!” moment is a big deal. They’re listening, remembering, recognizing patterns, and making predictions—all important skills for language and early literacy.

The Music Together songbook adds another layer to that experience. As you sing familiar songs together, the illustrations and lyrics help children connect what they hear and sing with what they see on the page.

So when your little one jumps in before the next verse or finishes a familiar phrase, celebrate it! They’re having fun, connecting with you, and building important skills for language, literacy, and learning. 💛🎶

Babies learn through music. 🎶🧠

A baby’s first musical experiences can be simple: a familiar voice singing, a gentle bounce, a steady beat, a song shared again and again. These little moments help babies connect, communicate, and begin to discover the joy of making music. 💛

In Music Together classes, babies aren’t just listening—they’re participating, exploring, and making music with the grown-ups they love.

We’d love to make music with you and your little one this fall! 🎵
