Last week, our EMS students recognized National EMS Week by participating in Stop the Bleed training during Save a Life Day 🚑

Students in Cohort 26 completed the training, giving them the opportunity to become instructors and help bring lifesaving education into their own communities.

Also shoutout to the students for designing their own EMS Week shirts 👏💙

After six years of professional hockey and four years running his own gym, ECPI University graduate Will Coetzee decided to pursue his long-term goal of aerospace engineering 🚀

Now, he helps support avionics system integration, testing, and launch operations at Relativity Space while working on the technology behind rocket launches.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Today is a time to reflect on the courage, service, and lives given in defense of others. We remember those who are no longer with us and recognize the profound impact their sacrifice continues to have on families, communities, and generations to come.

Across 13 campuses, nursing faculty were recognized during this year’s DAISY celebrations for the impact they make on students every day 🩺

Students shared stories of instructors who encouraged them through difficult moments, challenged them to grow, and helped build confidence throughout their educational journeys.

These celebrations recognized the compassion, support, and dedication faculty bring into the classroom each day and the lasting impact that can have on students.

Celebrating National Nurses Week at ECPI University – Richmond! 🩺

During Nurses Week, we honored the incredible nursing faculty, staff, and students who make our program what it is. It started with a kickoff breakfast on May 6 and closing out with a special celebration on May 12.

The May 12 event featured cake and ECPI swag, but the highlight of the day was the presentation of the 2026 DAISY Award for Nursing Faculty! 💙

Campus President Ashley Richards presented the award to faculty member Danielle Rappa in recognition of her outstanding commitment to compassion, clinical excellence, and nursing education.

Danielle, we are so proud to celebrate you. Thank you for everything you do for our students and the nursing profession! 🌼
