Save the date: November 2 is Regent Giving Day 2026, but giving begins today. 🗓️

Here's what makes this year different. A group of generous friends has already committed challenge gifts ranging from $1,250 all the way up to $25,000. And those gifts are sitting there, waiting. They unlock only when enough of us give.

So this year isn't about one big gift. It's about a lot of us giving $25 or more. $25 counts the same as $2,500 toward getting the next challenge gift released.

Tag a fellow Royal who'd want in on this. We're going to need all of us.

With the Fall 2026 semester in full swing, Regent University’s Campus Ministries department, led by a new Executive Director, is launching a new season of worship, discipleship, and outreach for students, faculty, and staff.

From weekly services in Shaw Chapel to Community Groups meeting on and off campus, Campus Ministries invites the entire community to dive into a year of spiritual growth, authentic community, and living out the year’s guiding theme, “Called by Love.”

Regent University began the academic year by welcoming Pastor Paul Lackie as Executive Director of Campus Ministries.

Lackie brings nearly 25 years of ministry experience, including two decades as Vice President of Frontline International, where he led teams, planned conferences and outreach events, and trained believers in leadership development and biblical spiritual gifts, both in the U.S. and abroad. In his new role, Lackie will oversee the university’s chapel services and worship life, train and mentor Campus Ministries staff and student leaders, and partner with local ministries to expand outreach opportunities for Regent students.

“What I’m excited about the most,” said Lackie, “is what I’ve seen in nations all over the world: people being introduced to the walk of the Holy Spirit, beginning to learn who they are, and beginning to understand that God has given them supernatural gifts that can affect them in the marketplace, in their families, and in their homes.”

“We believe Paul’s gifting and leadership will bring a fresh dimension to the spiritual life of our campus,” said Adam Williams, Ed.D., Vice President for Student Life & Dean of Students at Regent University.

The Regent Center for Performing Arts invites the community to enjoy its 2026-2027 theatre season lineup, featuring four productions spanning mystery, comedy, classic tragedy, and musical theatre.

For over 30 years, Regent University Theatre has produced shows of the highest caliber, with passionate artists breathing life into stories from every genre for all audiences. This season’s shows each present a central theme: revelation of the heart.

“This season’s shows are about finding out who someone really is. We spend our lives guessing at each other from the outside. Theatre is one of the few places you get to watch the inside come out,” said Simon Tarr, MFA, Ph.D., Dean of Regent University’s School of Communication & the Arts. “This brings a redemptive character to these stories, since ‘man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart’ (1 Samuel 16:7). When theatre is at its best, it allows us to see what characters can’t yet see about each other.”

The season’s productions are as follows:

Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express
• Dates: Oct. 2-4 & 9-11, 2026
• Location: Dede Robertson Theatre

Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning, it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer — before he or she strikes again.

Mr. Dickens’ Hat

In a cozy Victorian shop sits the hat of Charles Dickens, the one he famously used to carry water to victims of a train wreck. When a pair of bumbling thieves plots to steal it, young Kit sets out to foil their plan, save the hat, and free her father from debtors’ prison. This warm winter’s tale is filled with charming carols, lovable characters, and loads of good cheer!
