💡🔧 Real-world challenges. Real-world solutions. Real-world experience.

Our Bell Academy students are partnering with North American Iron, Tropic, TEAM Industries, and Lamppa Manufacturing on industry-sponsored design and engineering projects.

These collaborations give students the opportunity to work on authentic challenges facing today’s manufacturers while gaining valuable hands-on experience, building professional skills, and expanding their industry networks. At the same time, our partners benefit from fresh perspectives and innovative ideas from the next generation of engineers and problem-solvers.

These projects help create pathways to future internships, co-ops, and careers while strengthening connections between industry and education.

🎉 Week 1 is officially in the books!

We’re excited to welcome Cohort 14 to Iron Range Engineering! 🔔 From diving into new learning and meeting new people to getting to know each other (and our staff!) through Student Life activities, it was a busy first week!

The cohort also jumped right into their first design challenge: building and racing balloon-powered cars! 🎈🏎️ A little creativity, teamwork, and friendly competition made for a great way to kick off the semester.

Here’s to new friendships, new challenges, and a great semester ahead! 💙💛

Another semester in the books 🎓✨ Congratulations to our Spring 2026 graduates!

This week was filled with inspiring speeches from students, staff, faculty, and industry guests, fun activities like trivia games, and lots of great food shared together. Most importantly it was a time to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our students.

As we head into summer, we’re encouraging everyone to focus on meaningful rest by taking time to recharge, reflect, and care for yourself in ways that truly matter.

Work hard, play hard 🎓⚙️

Our student engineers have been putting in the work and wrapping up the spring semester with exams, presentations, and tech comps. But... also making time for some fun along the way, too! From first-ever MLB games at Target Field watching the Twins, to a chili cook-off (shoutout to our first-time winners taking home crock pots 🏆), to celebrating Earth Day by cleaning up our adopted highway 🌎
