We were thrilled to welcome the Bernard & Audre Rapoport First Generation Scholars to Cameron Hall today during orientation week! Cohort 20 is our largest cohort yet, and we are so excited to welcome these scholars to the MCC family. 💙

The Rapoport First Generation Scholars program provides scholarship support, meaningful experiences, mentorship, and a strong community to help first-generation students thrive at McLennan Community College and prepare for what comes next.

Thank you, Cohort 20, for spending part of your orientation week with us at Cameron Hall. We loved getting to know you and can’t wait to cheer you on throughout your MCC journey!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Hearts in the Arts Summer Dinner! We are so grateful for our Hearts in the Arts members whose generosity and commitment make a lasting impact on McLennan Community College's Visual & Performing Arts Division and the students we serve.

During the evening, Dr. Mandy Balmos Morrison shared the many ways your support has enriched opportunities for our students and expressed heartfelt appreciation to our 2025–2026 Hearts in the Arts Chairs, Virginia and Donald Lewis, for their outstanding leadership and dedication throughout the season.

The evening concluded with an exciting first look at our 2026–2027 Performing Arts Series—a season we can't wait to experience together. Thank you for investing in the arts and in the lives of our students. We look forward to another incredible year!

The Brother's Invitational is a truly alumni-led fundraiser, made possible through the vision, leadership, countless volunteer hours, and generosity of our MCC Men's Golf alumni. Their dedication continues to create opportunities for today's student-athletes while supporting Coach Vince Clark and the MCC Men's Golf Team.

This year, the tournament was held at Bear Ridge Golf Course, where Highlanders enjoyed a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to giving back.

Congratulations to the 2026 NJCAA Division I Dave Williams National Coach of the Year Award, Vince Clark! Clark led the Highlanders to six tournament wins including the 2026 National Championship, the fifth in program history.
