We can’t wait to celebrate you Monday, May 4th on Fountain Mall between 7-8:30pm! Wear your line jersey and slime cap, and enjoy some ice cream in your very own limited edition mini Slime Cap helmet!

There will also be photo ops and a word from President Livingstone.

Attention New Bears!

Your next steps on this journey will include learning about the opportunities you have at Baylor, making important decisions like your first semester classes, and getting to know other Bears! Baylor has outstanding welcome and orientation programs designed just for YOU.

Reservations for Orientation & Baylor Line Camp are NOW OPEN for students entering in Summer or Fall 2026!

New students are required to complete Orientation this summer, and you have three format options for how you do so. All Orientation options are open to students and their guests.

We also highly encourage new students to attend Baylor Line Camp! Students who participate in Baylor Line Camp report a greater sense of belonging at Baylor, are more likely to graduate in 4 years, and even tend to have a higher GPA in their first year. 

Spaces in each in-person session are limited and available on a first-come basis.

“Baylor Line Camp truly welcomed me home as a Baylor Bear. Shaped by outstanding leadership and radical hospitality, Baylor Line Camp became the first pages of this great new chapter in my life by introducing me to the Baylor community through fellowship, meaningful conversation, and tradition. 

Through my time with Baylor Line Camp, I have learned the power of living in community at Baylor. Because of Camp, we were able to share our unique stories, which led to lasting friendships to study with, pray with, worship with, and walk through life with during any season.” - Josh Coe

Bethany Spurr, one of our previous Orientation + Baylor Line Camp leaders, shared with us the impact that Baylor Line Camp has had on her!

“Line Camp completely shaped my college journey. I started as a nervous but excited high school senior who was confident Baylor was the place for me. That week of Orientation and Line Camp in the summer of 2022 was truly life changing. For the first time, everything felt aligned. I felt that God brought me here for a specific reason, to make an impact on a community and a place I love so much.

I loved everything about my experience with Camp. What stands out most is the intentionality behind it, from the leaders, to Student Leadership Team, to staff. Every detail is designed to create a meaningful and impactful experience for new students. Camp is structured in such a thoughtful way that it naturally builds community and fosters real friendships.

I especially appreciated the balance between high-energy fun activities and the more reflective, insightful lectures. That combination made the experience both exciting and grounding. One talk that has stayed with me is “Story and Calling.” Even now, as I approach the end of my senior year, I find myself reflecting on it and thinking about my next steps. That speaks to the lasting impact Line Camp can have.”
