Baylor Missions, Service & Public Life Baylor Missions, Service, & Public Life strives to shape Baylor's engagement with Waco and the world.

We believe in a God who is on mission, a God who is working actively in & around the world. It is this same God who invites us to partner with Him where He is already at work. Believing this to be true, BU Missions seeks to create tangible opportunities for students to understand how they can use the knowledge & skills they gain here at Baylor to love people around the world and in their own backy

ard. As we plan our missions experiences, we collaborate with faculty & staff from a variety of disciplines & backgrounds along with our global and community partners in order to implement spiritually rich & challenging experiences for our students. It is our hope that the students who participate in BU Missions , not only enjoy the experience (which is important), but also discover a sense of vocation & calling as they see first-hand how they can use their discipline to serve.

Rural healthcare in action 💚💛

Last week, an interdisciplinary team of students from the Healthcare MBA, Medical Humanities, Honors College, and Nursing programs participated in a rural healthcare immersion trip to Appalachia. Students toured facilities, delivered and received presentations with healthcare professionals, participated in community outreach, and experienced the realities of healthcare in rural settings.
