This September, we are celebrating a truly special milestone — 75 years of the Armstrong Browning Library and Museum!
Join us September 17–18 as we celebrate 75 years of scholarship, literature, history, and the enduring legacy of Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning.
📚 September 17–18: A special anniversary symposium featuring scholars and speakers exploring the Brownings, their work, and the collections that make the Armstrong Browning Library a unique treasure at Baylor University.
⭐️September 18: Join us for an evening celebration honoring 75 remarkable years of the Armstrong Browning Library.
For 75 years, the Armstrong Browning Library has welcomed students, scholars, visitors, and friends from around the world. We are excited to celebrate this incredible history — and look forward to the next chapter.

The Baptist Collections of the Baylor University Libraries were honored to receive the prestigious Davis C. Woolley Award during this year’s annual meeting of the Baptist History and Heritage Society (BHHS). The award was given jointly by the BHHS and the Association of Librarians and Archivists at Baptists (ALABI). It was presented by Aaron Weaver, executive director of BHHS, and Taffey Hall, executive director of ALABI and archivist and director of the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives. Our director of the Keston Center for Religion, Politics, and Society, and director of Baptist Collections and Library Advancement, Kathy Hillman, was in attendance and received the award.
