Rib Cutting Ceremony today at the Yaggie Family Agriculture Center, home of the NDSCS Agriculture Department!

Wow—what a celebration! ❤️🖤

Today was such a wonderful reminder of what generosity can make possible—not just today, but for generations to come.

We celebrated the Yaggie Family Ag Center and Kosel Ag Lab, along with the unveiling of the new hoists in the Automotive Department, made possible by generous donors who believe in giving our students the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.

There was so much to celebrate—and so many people who played a part in making these projects possible. Donors, speakers, faculty, staff, community partners, students and friends of NDSCS all came together to celebrate the impact of giving and the exciting future it helps create.

And what makes celebrations like this so special is seeing the joy on everyone's faces. There is something pretty amazing about seeing a vision become reality and knowing that these investments will continue to make a difference for students for years to come.

Most importantly, these gifts are about our students. They are about creating hands-on learning opportunities, preparing students for successful careers and strengthening the future of agriculture, automotive and our entire region.

Thank you to everyone who believed in these projects, gave so generously and helped make today possible. We are incredibly grateful—and so happy to celebrate with all of you!

Fall 2026 classes kicked off last week, and we were excited to welcome our Agriculture students back to campus with a BBQ in the newly named Kosel Family Agriculture Lab!

It was a great opportunity to kick off the semester, connect with classmates and faculty, and celebrate another year in NDSCS Agriculture.

A big thank to Alsager Meats for helping supply the burgers and brats and making our welcome BBQ a success!

NDSCS is looking to add an Agriculture Instructor! The ideal candidate for this position will have expertise in agricultural business and farm management, with the ability to teach courses related to farm and agribusiness operations, financial management, and agricultural decision-making. However, the college is also open to candidates with strengths in animal science or other related agricultural disciplines.

It’s finals week here in the NDSCS Agriculture Department. We celebrated another great year of learning, moving into the newly remodeled Yaggie Family Agriculture Center, and gave our best wishes to our graduates with a BBQ. Thank you to all our students for another great year of learning. To our graduates, we wish you all the best and look forward to seeing your contributions to the world of agriculture!

NACTA day 3 & 4 were busy and fun filled days. A few contests and some hiking aroubd Palo Duro Canyon Proud of the effort these kids put forth. Congratulations to Alex Kratcha on his 3rd high individual in the Precision Ag event.

NACTA trip days 1 & 2 have been great. Hit some tourist spots day one then an awesome educational opportunity at Tregellas Family Farms. Many thanks to Blake and Janet for sharing with us.

The livestock reproduction class braved the elements and completed the AI training portion of the class. It’s great working with partners like Riverview LLC. We were at their Campbell dairy. All students had success!
