At the April Board of Trustees meeting, a number of A&S faculty received tenure and were promoted to full professor! Congratulations to Anne Berry (Psychology), Greg Childs (History), Yuri Doolan (History & WGS), Michael Heller (Music), Tymon Sloczynski (Economics), Michael Strand (Sociology), and Steven Wilson (Politics) on receiving tenure!

In addition, congratulations to Jon Anjaria (Anthropology), Jill Greenlee (Politics), Shantanu Jadhav (Psychology), and Kate Moran (Philosophy) who all were promoted to full professor!

At Brandeis, the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program (WGS) is a locus of research, education, social engagement, and activities that explore and expand our understanding of how gender and sexuality intersect with race, class, culture, religion, ability, and more.

At graduation, WGS majors are prepared for careers in a wide range of professions, including law, health care and public health, social service, public policy, advocacy, and higher education.

Did you know that Brandeis has over 20 labs dedicated to neuroscience? A large number of neuroscience majors complete senior honors research, and many become authors on scientific publications. Graduating seniors in neuroscience are exceptionally well-prepared to pursue further training in PhD or medical programs in Neuroscience and other Biological sciences.
