Macomb Community College recently received a Michigan Apprenticeship Readiness Certification from the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) for its commitment to preparing students for registered apprenticeship opportunities in the healthcare sector with its pre-apprenticeship program. Want a chance to flex your artistic muscles? Participate in a winter-themed window painting contest for Nattmarknad!

Painting will take place November 16th through 18th. Winners will be announced at Nattmarknad, the annual holiday market hosted by Macomb's Art Department and the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

Kettering University has become Macomb's 11th partner at the University Center, expanding a longstanding collaboration between both institutions and enhancing opportunities for Macomb students in engineering, computer science and business.

Macomb and Kettering have an established transfer pathway that aligns several concentrations within Macomb’s Associate of Business Administration degree with Kettering’s Bachelor of Science in management. Eligible concentrations include business management, entrepreneurship and small business management, general business and global supply chain management.

Happy National Manufacturing Day!

Macomb Community College is hosting an exclusive
Innovate & Build: Manufacturing & Design Pathways event on October 15th. This free event provides high school students and their families the chance to learn about career pathways nearby in manufacturing.

The event will include:
- A Q&A panel with industry experts
- A tour of our new state-of-the-art Skilled Trades and Advanced Technology Center
- A chance to learn about apprenticeship programs
- Dinner and hors d'oeuvres
- A giveaway drawing for multiple prizes, including a Nintendo Switch 2

The Veteran & Military Services team recently hosted a Fun Day for all Macomb student veterans, service members, and military-connected family members!

Attendees were able to meet other military-connected students, enjoy good food, and compete in games to win prizes, as well as raffles and plenty of freebies to take home.
