This evidence-based supplementary literacy program is designed for deaf and hard of hearing children in kindergarten to 2nd grade. The 8 hour curriculum is spread across two professional development days.

You’re invited to join us on Saturday, May 9th, from 12:30 – 2:30pm for Rec Day at the Weston Community Center!

Come see the fun activities and games that our talented D/HH middle schoolers planned during this year’s Success Leadership Camp. This event is ideal for D/HH youth and siblings between the ages of 5-10. Participants will enjoy an afternoon of exciting games and activities facilitated entirely by mentor middle schoolers. This event is free for all families and snacks and refreshments will be provided. Outdoor games will take place, weather-permitting.

GURC–East mourns the passing of its former Administrative Assistant, Sherrie A. Carroll, who served in the role for 12 years (2003–2015). We are deeply grateful for her dedicated service and unwavering support of GURC–Northeast (now GURC–East) at NECC. She will be greatly missed.
