Global Zero is an international movement for the elimination of all nuclear weapons worldwide. Since its launch in Paris in December 2008, Global Zero has grown to include 300 leaders and nearly half a million citizens worldwide, developed a step-by-step plan to eliminate nuclear weapons, built an international student movement with 175 campus chapters in 30 countries, and produced an acclaimed do

cumentary film, "Countdown to Zero." American University's Global Zero chapter is an extension of this movement. We believe that to protect our children, our grandchildren, and our civilization from the threat of nuclear catastrophe, we must eliminate all nuclear weapons globally.
