Did you hear the news? 👀 For the second year in a row, a team from American University won the Schuman Challenge! This year's team featured: Arjun Mishra (SPA/BA ’27, Kogod/BA ’27), James Bole (SIS/BA ’26), Isabella Long (CAS/BA ’25) and Tarumbidzwa (Taru) Chirume (SIS/BA ’26).

This annual challenge held by the European Union Delegation to the United States invites undergraduate students to coalesce in Washington, DC, for an academic competition that challenges them to engage in dialogue on transatlantic policy issues. This year's prompt was: “Artificial Intelligence as a Key Technology: A Shared Initiative for the EU and U.S. vis-à-vis China.”
