OPI is promoting this event for the WCL If/When/How Chapter!
“While we know all too well how the Supreme Court overturned Roe last year, it is time to start talking about why we are still so obsessed with Roe. Join our panel on Monday January 23 at noon-1:15 pm in N102 to dive into what were the limits of Roe and what are the options for state or federal codification of the right to an abortion. We are excited to learn from a litigator, researcher, and provider attorney. Submit questions and register for the Zoom via the QR code!”

Please join If/When/How chapters, Ipas, and WCL partners for an important conversation with key leaders from the Green Wave, the abortion rights movement rolling across Latin America! Hear from key activists working in El Salvador, Chile, Nicaragua and Argentina, who will share valuable lessons and experiences for our collective work in the United States and beyond. The event will be from 1-2 pm on the Washington College of Law campus and Spanish-English interpretation will be provided.

The WCL Equal Justice Foundation (EJF) is a student-run organization dedicated to closing the justice gap for most vulnerable members of our community. Each summer, EJF provides stipends to support WCL students performing unpaid high-impact public interest internships. Through EJF our students are able to deliver critical services to underrepresented members of our community, while gaining valuable experiences in the public interest sector. This Giving Tuesday, please consider donating to WCL EJF. All donations will go directly towards funding law student summer fellowships. Give Here: https://bit.ly/3GOWCEg
