The Office of Sponsored Programs is the University's research administration office and is the portal for securing and managing external funds. As the centralized unit charged with the coordination of research and sponsored programs activities on a campus-wide basis, OSP provides leadership, information, services, and support to the university community: faculty, research associates, students, and

staff in the acquisition and administration of externally funded projects in furtherance of the instruction, research, and public service mission of the University. It is the function of the Office of Sponsored Programs to ensure the integrity of the accounting and administrative information and to insure that the University complies with the regulations and guidelines of sponsoring agencies and institutional policies and procedures. Administratively, the Office of Sponsored Programs is housed under the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and reports directly to the Provost.
