Join us on April 20th from 3:30-5 pm in the Founder’s Room for a discussion of the economic relationship between the United States and China, and its role in shaping the future global economy. We will be joined by Professor Liqing Zhang, from the Center for International Finance Studies, and Professor Randall Henning, who teaches International Economic Relations here at SIS. Their discussion will address the state of the Chinese economy and its implications for Sino-U.S. relations, including the prospects for economic growth, the balance of payments, and the yuan-dollar rate. They will also address Chinese perspectives on U.S. international economic policies and various proposals for stabilizing this critically important bilateral relationship. Be sure to register on Eventbrite through the QR code, or through the link in our PGE Instagram story!

Last week included pizza for those hard at work in the suite, a benefit for US/Ukrainian activists at the French Embassy, a discussion about the security implications of changes in foreign aid, and networking with European diplomats on campus.

Stay tuned for what we have in store next!

They had the opportunity to attend “knowledge cafes” with professionals from around the world. Not only did this opportunity give them rare insight to the structure, an bureaucracy of the World Bank and IMF, but it allowed them to become a part of the discussion!

We love seeing our GGPS students so involved both here at AU, and beyond! Thanks for sharing your experiences, and encouraging your peers to attend future Conferences.
