Happy start to Black History Month! 💜

In the wake of widespread attempts at trans erasure, we honor Marsha P Johnson, a Black trans woman and pioneer in the fight for intersectional LGBTQIA+ rights and representation. She committed much of her adult life to fighting for and protecting the rights and safety of trans people by providing food and housing to those who were rejected/not supported by their families or communities, despite being homeless herself. 💜

“Education without morals is like a ship without a compass, merely wandering nowhere. It is not enough to have the power of concentration, but we must have worthy objectives upon which to concentrate. It is not enough to know truth, but we must love truth and sacrifice for it.”

- Dr. Martin Luther King on “The Purpose of Education”
