In our third GW Alumni in Focus Spotlight, we are highlighting Danielle Gilmore, Ph.D. ’23, Director of Learning and Research at BoardSource.

An alumna of the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, Danielle chose GW because of her desire to make an impact and take a more hands-on approach to her work.

Growing up in the Marshall Islands and witnessing the stark contrasts between life on the islands of Kwajalein and Ebeye shaped Danielle’s perspective on access to resources, education, and the systems that surround them.

As a first-generation college student, Danielle gives back to the GW community by speaking with students, sharing her knowledge, and mentoring the next generation.
