Sister Ciara Whaley Luttrell visited Colorado with her sister. She started her trip in Denver, then roadtripped up to breathtaking Ouray, which is renowned for being the “Switzerland of America.” In middle of the mountains, she hiked to the Box Canyon to see a majestic waterfall and a stunning mountainous landscape. Afterwards, she and her sister went to Telluride to explore the charming town nested there. She went on a hike to see another waterfall and rode a gondola up the mountains. “It was truly such a beautiful and unforgettable trip with my family!” says Ciara. How lovely!!

Sister Hannah Lara Weiss visited New York City for the first time this summer! She ticked all the must-visit locations there, such as the DUMBO, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and the Times Square. In her free time, she took side quests to visit the “Top of the Rock” and became the main character at a rooftop restaurant. She also stopped by Philadelphia to make charcuterie boards, see the artworks of Picasso and Van Gogh at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and realizing her absolute love for red pandas at the local zoo!! How adorable. We’re so happy she felt warmly welcomed in one of the biggest cities in the world!

Sister ZaniBelle Ivy Hoglind spent an amazing time at Mexico City, Mexico! In the Mexican capital, she visited restaurants, cafes, and famous landmarks while savoring all the authentic food Mexico has to offer. She even went on a hot air balloon ride and saw beautiful panoramic views afloat. We love how she experienced Mexico and its magic within its cultural capital!!

Sister Anahit Angela Tadevosyan spent her summer at home in Texas with her family. She had plenty of bonding time with her two younger sisters!! Sister Rajeyah Khamirah At-Agri stayed in the DMV area for the whole summer. She went to a bowling alley and won a round, mastered doing her own nails, and bedazzled her pride shirt to go to DC Pride! She also got the chance to see and take pictures of the moon close-up and go on an rollercoaster adventure at Kings Dominion. We love that she had an amazing summer around Gallaudet’s hometown!

Sister Jasmine Nayeli Jimenez Lara returned to her childhood hometown in Northern California. She went there for a three-week internship at California School for the Deaf - Fremont. She had so much fun leading activities, games, and getting a taste of the Physical Education & Recreation field! How ambitious of her to give back to the community that raised her! 🏃🏽‍♀️🏀

Sister Callie Dustan Trapani went to Mexico with her family and had such a blast visiting cenotes, meeting endangered macaws, and getting the best tan of her life. After that, she flew to Turks and Caicos solo and spent a week admiring the stunning turquoise ocean while making tons of new friends, teaching them ASL along the way! She also went on boat trips to watch the sunset and see vibrant marine life like fishes, coral reef and sharks while snorkeling. What an adventure!! 🏝️🐚
