Equal Justice Foundation- WCL The Washington College of Law Equal Justice Foundation (EJF) is a student-run organization dedicated to a more just society through the practice of law.

EJF aims to support public interest lawyering and serve underrepresented communities. Established at American University, Washington College of Law in 1989, EJF is a non-profit, student-run organization. Throughout the school year, EJF raises money and collects donations from students, faculty, staff, and the business community to fund stipends for WCL students who have secured positions with publ

ic interest organizations and demonstrated a committment to the Equal Justice Foundation. All proceeds are directly distributed to WCL students; no money is used for overhead.

This Friday, Professor Rebecca Hamilton and 12 WCL students will be swimming for public interest stipends in coordination with the EJF Auction’s fundraising efforts! Join us in cheering them on at AU’s pool and donating to our swim-a-thon fundraising page!
